New Zealander Antonia Prebble has been a professional actress since the age of 12. She emerged on the scene when she was cast in the series regular role of Mandy McFarlane on the television show Mirror Mirror – Series 2.

From there she worked continuously in both feature films and television series including starring in the hit television series The Tribe (1998–2003), followed by the award winning show Outrageous Fortune. Other television roles include leads in Spies and Lies and The Women's Vote.
Antonia's most recent television series was The Blue Rose, in which she played the lead role of Jane, role that had been written specifically for her.

In feature film, Antonia's leading roles have included Timeslow, The Cure, White Lies, and most recently the World War One dramatic mini-series ANZAC Girls in the starring role of Hilda.
In October of 2013, New Zealand announced its entry for consideration for the Academy Awards in the Best Foreign Language Film category. The honor went to White Lies, which is currently being screened in Los Angeles for Academy Members.

On November 20, 2013, The New Zealand Film Awards released this year's list of nominees, which included Antonia Prebble for her work in White Lies.

Antonia has already received numerous Awards and Nominations including: Seoul International Drama Awards: Best Actress Nomination for The Blue Rose opposite Emma Thompson and Lucy Liu; Monte Carlo Television Festival 2013: The Blue Rose nominated for Best Television Series opposite Homeland and Downton Abbey; New Zealand Film and Television Awards: Winner - Best Supporting Actress for Outrageous Fortune (her third consecutive nomination in that role); TV Guide People's Choice Awards: Best Actress Nomination in 2005 and 2011, both for Outrageous Fortune.
