For her musical knowledge, skills and commitment to mentoring, and nurturing emerging music composers and ensuring that the business aspect of their artistic creativity is protected, Maggie Rodford is the recipient of TheWIFTS Music Award 2015.

Maggie Rodford studied music, playing piano and cello and singing in choirs including the BBC Chorus. She trained as a music engineer at the BBC and has worked on music recording and programmes for both the BBC and EMI prior to joining the Air-Edel Group where she is its managing director.

The Air-Edel Group incorporates one of the world's leading music publishing and production companies, representing composers worldwide.

Over the period of her career and today, Maggie works with many young composers helping to develop their careers and ensuring that their business side is well-represented. Many of the composers are now working at the top of their profession! And her stewardship continues to see new artists emerge.
